I just has Christian perfectionistic tendencies when I experienced my first narc take-down. I actually come from a culture that is pretty much the inverse of narcissistic, so when people try to attack my ego, I genuinely can’t see what the play is all about. They seem to me to be ridiculous clowns, shooting themselves in the foot. The area I had to repair myself was in terms of my holding myself to moral perfectionism.
