Do not civilise me!

Waves, enormous waves, crashing over our shack, firing up, up into the air, the blue, the ice, and compellingly reaching to the other side. These waves not destructive, they fall harmlessly, each new rise more daunting than the last, animated, otherworldly.

Others play on waves, but not I, my one foot in the water. This life is changing — this shattering of the soft tin roof of my brain.
